Common questions
Straight answers before you request an estimate.
- Do you pour concrete around curved pools and spas?
- Yes. Our completed projects include curved and rectangular swimming pools and raised spa surrounds. The estimate reviews the shape of the pool, space for seating, and the paths connecting the deck to the home and yard.
- Can a pool deck be broom-finished or stamped?
- Our project photos show both finishes. A broom finish gives the concrete a textured surface; stamped concrete adds a decorative pattern. We can discuss texture, sealer, maintenance, and wet-foot traffic when reviewing the finish for your pool area.
- What affects the cost of a concrete pool deck?
- The deck area, access for equipment, site preparation, drainage, removal of existing concrete, and finish all affect the scope. A free on-site estimate lets us review those details around your pool before quoting the work.
- What is a concrete densifier, and do I need one?
- A densifier is an optional penetrating treatment that helps reduce porosity and increase the treated surface's hardness and abrasion resistance. It is a surface treatment, not a repair for structural deficiencies, large cracks, or substrate problems. A properly poured and cured 4000 PSI slab stands on its own; we'll quote the densifier as an option so you can decide.
