Common questions

Straight answers before you request an estimate.

Can you replace just my front steps?
Yes. Old steps get broken out and hauled off, new ones are formed and poured in place, tied into the stoop or walkway they meet. Small job for us, big difference at your front door.
Can steps be built into a sloped yard or walkway?
That's the usual reason steps exist — a walkway drops with the grade and picks up a step or a terrace where it needs one. We form the transition so the walk, the steps, and the landing pour as one clean run.
What is a concrete densifier, and do I need one?
A densifier is an optional penetrating treatment that helps reduce porosity and increase the treated surface's hardness and abrasion resistance. It is a surface treatment, not a repair for structural deficiencies, large cracks, or substrate problems. A properly poured and cured 4000 PSI slab stands on its own; we'll quote the densifier as an option so you can decide.
